Our Mission
Missions of Honor, Inc. is a standalone organization formed in the image Old Glory Honor Flight to accomplish missions that fall outside of the National Honor Flight guidelines. It is focused on the health and well-being of our veteran community and the Freedom to Liberty: A Mission of Healing retreat is our premiere, annual event.

Supporting Our Local Veterans
Missions of Honor is a new non-profit that immediately established a stellar track record of Honoring America’s Heroes One Mission at a Time. For the second year in a row, we organized an amazing, totally unique mission that honored Veterans who served during America’s longest war- the Global War on Terrorism called Freedom to Liberty: A Mission of Healing. The Freedom to Liberty retreat is a no cost, multiple day trip to New York to visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the Freedom Tower and the Statue of Liberty to assist our veterans in recognizing the value of their service by reminding them why they went to war in the first place. The retreat includes visits from special guests including 9/11 First Responders and fellow GWOT Veterans who know what it’s like to struggle. Our special guests share powerful messages of resilience, faith and the importance of taking care of one’s mental health. We know the statistics of veteran suicides are staggering, so if we can find a way to connect them with their battle buddies and help them heal from their post traumatic struggles, we owe it to them and their families to do so.
