Individual Giving

Your generosity helps us honor America's heroes in meaningful, lasting ways. Through your support, veterans have the opportunity to revisit long-held memories, pay tribute to fallen comrades, reconnect with fellow service members, and experience the memorials built in their honor. Without you, we could not continue our mission of giving these heroes the recognition they deserve.

Missions of Honor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for specific guidance. We are proud to be fully funded through donations from individuals, families, and organizations that share our commitment to honoring veterans—we do not receive government funding.

A receipt will be sent approximately two weeks after your donation is made. If your gift is made in honor or memory of someone special, please include the name and address of the honoree's family so we can send an acknowledgment of your thoughtful tribute.

If you’d like to make your donation by phone, please call us at (920) 257-2563 and have your credit card ready. We’ll be happy to assist you and process your contribution securely.

In-Kind Donations

In addition to financial support, we gratefully accept in-kind donations that help us carry out our day-to-day work. Whether you’d like to share a professional skill, donate office supplies, or contribute an item for one of our auctions, your generosity directly supports our veterans and volunteers.

Examples of helpful in-kind donations include:

Gift cards from Target, Walmart, or Festival Foods (used for office supplies, veteran snacks, and volunteer materials)
White copy paper
Forever stamps
New items suitable for silent or live auctions (such as sports tickets, artwork, gift certificates, jewelry, furniture, or wine)

Estate Planning

Including Missions of Honor in your estate plans is a meaningful way to ensure your legacy continues to honor and support veterans for years to come. You can name Missions of Honor as a beneficiary in your will, trust, or other financial accounts—creating a lasting impact that reflects your values and commitment to those who served.

We recommend consulting your estate planning attorney to determine the best approach for your situation. The following sample language may be helpful as a starting point:

Our trustee (or personal representative) shall distribute _____% of trust assets (or $_____), or (account number_____), or (_____shares of _____stock) to Missions of Honor of Appleton, Wisconsin, outright and free of trust, to be used for its general charitable purposes.

Hosting a Fundraiser

We’re always grateful when community members host fundraisers to support our mission. From golf outings and car shows to bake sales, theme days, and penny wars, every event helps us honor and support veterans in meaningful ways.
